We are now looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Estates Team, based on our Falmouth campus.  You will be a key member of the Estates Operations Department, responsible for ensuring that the maintenance requirements of the campus buildings and associated M&E equipment are undertaken in a safe and efficient manner.  The Maintenance Supervisor is also expected to undertake their own maintenance tasks where their specific resource and expertise is required. 
The successful candidate will work closely with both the Buildings and Engineering Maintenance Managers and the wider Estates teams, to ensure that building fabric and associated equipment maintenance requirements are well defined, co-ordinated with other activities and reported and monitored through the Estates Helpdesk. They will closely supervise the work of the building maintenance team to ensure that work is performed safely, professionally and efficiently.
About You
 
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who holds a relevant OND/ONC/Level III qualification in building, electrical or mechanical related subject, a time served apprenticeship, or who has substantial relevant experience. The post-holder will have recent and relevant demonstrable experience in buildings and equipment maintenance, knowledge and understanding of Building Management Systems, together with significant people management experience, responsible for leading teams of different professional disciplines.
