An exciting opportunity has become available within the Manchester Academy for Healthcare Scientist Education (MAHSE). The MAHSE Manager leads a small administrative team based at the University of Manchester and working across the MAHSE Partnership, supporting Healthcare Science training programmes for NHS employees.
MAHSE deliver PgCert, MSc and Doctoral level programmes as part of national scientist training programmes. The MAHSE Manager is responsible for the smooth running of the academic programmes and the partnership. They work closely with the MAHSE Director and MAHSE Deputy Directors to ensure continued engagement with stakeholders. The role requires a considerable amount of external liaison with NHS Trusts, Commissioners and the National School for Healthcare Science (NSHCS).
You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills and financial awareness and attention to detail. The role offers an excellent variety of work, and the opportunity to develop and enhance existing skills.
