About the Role:
As part of the ongoing development of the Institute, an opportunity has arisen to appoint a Lecturer in Sport Management to enable a successful implementation of our academic strategy.
Working with the Business School staff team and students, you will among other activities, contribute to the development and delivery of the Sport Business Management undergraduate degree and the portfolio of current and forthcoming degrees housed in the Business School. You will also form part of our dynamic recruitment strategy, research & innovation culture and excellent student learning experience.
We would welcome research active candidates at the intersection of Sport Management, Sport Business, and Sport Social Sciences. You will preferably have expertise in areas such as Sport Marketing, Sport Finance, Sport Leadership, Organisational Behaviour, and/or other cognate research areas which complement current research in the Institute. This will be evidenced by successful independent research activity including publications in peer-reviewed journals and potential for securing external research funding.
Ideally, candidates will have a broad range of research methods, knowledge and skills. You must also be able to demonstrate innovative, effective and inspirational teaching and learning for students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will have knowledge of CIMSPA and have industry connections to aid the student experience. You will be committed to ensuring that our students are well supported and enjoy their experience with us. The successful candidate will be pro-active, enthusiastic and enjoy working as a member of a team.
