The School of Law at Oxford Brookes University provides an intellectually stimulating, friendly and supportive environment in which to work and study. As part of its development strategy, the School of Law is seeking to appoint a Lecturer(s), to further support its teaching, research and knowledge exchange strategies. 

We are seeking candidates who will contribute to our research culture, enhance our student experience and employability strategy, and contribute to teaching particular courses.

Successful candidates will have a record of teaching (or evidence of an ability to teach) students across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in several current areas of need, such as (but not limited to) Contract, Tort, Land, Equity, Skills/advocacy, English Legal System, Commercial and Company Law.

Candidates for the Lecturer roles in the School of Law should have PhDs that are completed or nearing submission, or equivalent experience; a demonstrable record of administrative, research, and teaching activity appropriate to career stage that accords with the current needs of the School of Law; and have a developing record of high-quality research outputs and/or knowledge exchange or professional activity.

Interviews are planned for the 25th and 26th April 2023. They will be in person, but can be online if needed.
