Lecturer in Automotive Engineering

We’re looking to recruit a Lecturer for our Future Transportation Subject Group as we seek to grow our automotive engineering provision.

You will have knowledge and expertise across the field of automotive engineering, developed and sustained through academic and/or industrial experience.

If you have expertise in the areas of hybrid/electric drive, vehicle electrical systems and electronics, vehicle control systems or thermodynamics and internal combustion engine technology, this would be particularly welcome.

You will have the ability to create and deliver engaging and transformative learning and teaching experiences, as well as staying up to date in your subject area through research, consultancy and knowledge exchange activities.


The Department of Engineering and Mathematics

is home to over 100 academic staff, with students and their experience at the forefront of what we do. We place equal emphasis on teaching and research, be it subject or pedagogic research to transform lives.
