Join our highly supportive team where you will help to deliver the MSc Applied Clinical Psychology. 


About the role 

You will primarily be teaching in person on the MSc. Applied Clinical Psychology course. You will be delivering lectures on a number of course that will support students learning of the theories, research and practice of applied clinical psychology. The role will also involve facilitating and leading student seminars and personal tutoring meetings with small groups of post graduate students. 

You will also supervise a number of postgraduate students conducting dissertation projects in applied clinical psychology. There will also be some administration and management of courses, but your main role will be teaching and supporting teaching on the MSc Applied Clinical Psychology.

This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) fixed term basis covering for maternity leave with an expected date of 30/01/2025 or the early return of the post-holder. 


About the Department 

Our Department of Psychology is world-renowned for its excellence in research and teaching, regularly appearing in the top 5 in national league tables (e.g., The Complete University Guide). Research in the department occurs across more than six sub-disciplines in psychology, including clinical, cognitive, developmental, environmental, forensic, health, and social psychology. We have recently been recognized for our good practice in gender equality with a Silver Award from Athena SWAN

The department resides in a new purpose-built £30 million building, containing 10,000 square feet of state-of-the-art labs for interview, social group observation, EEG/ERP, virtual reality, psychobiology, eye-tracking, pain, cross-modal, and computerized testing.
