Brunel Design School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in graphics and communication design with expertise in visual communication design and process, sketching and conceptualisation, and user interface design.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching of graphic/communication design courses. The lecturer will also provide specialist support to undergraduate and postgraduate students in their major/dissertation project work.

Candidates are expected to have an appropriate undergraduate degree and a masters’ degree, and must have a strong interest in teaching graphics/communication design, and a good understanding of visual communication design processes, branding, UX design and trends. They should have professional experience working in the relevant design sector.

In addition, candidates will have empathy for interdisciplinary working and taking an integrated approach to design teaching.
