DMU is an ambitious, globally minded and culturally rich university with a strong commitment to the public good. We strive to maintain a stimulating and inclusive environment that champions difference and celebrates success.

We are asking ourselves some fundamental but hugely important and far-reaching questions at DMU: what will be the education of the future that we want to provide? How will it be distinctive, relate to the city and the future world of work, and be inspiring and – reflecting on the ambitions of our founders – ‘elevating’? How does a degree stay relevant throughout someone’s working life?

The role can be completed on a hybrid basis.

Ideal Candidate

To be successful as Lead for Higher Technical Education and professional Skills you will have achieved a higher degree and demonstrate leadership experience in higher or further education, specifically in a large/complex organisation – including experience of working with stakeholders and in a cross-functional team.
