This role is available to current employees within IT Services at the University of Leeds only.

Salary: Grade 8 (£45,585 - £54,395 p.a. depending on experience)

This will role will be based on the University campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

As the ITSM Process Lead - Knowledge you will be accountable for managing the Knowledge Management process and maintenance of the Service Knowledge Management System (SKMS).

You will be accountable for the execution of the Knowledge Management process and engage a wide range of stakeholders in IT to maintain a high level of quality for knowledge.  Playing a pivotal role in ensuring IT delivers on the University’s strategic aims and objectives, and support the IT Leadership team with the implementation of continual improvements.  

To be successful you will utilise your skills as an IT Professional, and your excellent understanding of IT Service Management and its underlying functions. You will also be proficient at managing conflicting demands of knowledge development with incident and problem resolution through an operational skillset.

Working closely with the IT Leadership Team, you will work collaboratively across all functions of IT to ensure that knowledge content is kept up-to-date and relevant for user needs by engaging and coaching knowledge owners.  You will also be responsible for effective liaison with third party suppliers to ensure knowledge concerning their products and services is maintained.
