The International Conversion Officer for the Kent Business School is responsible for the execution of a wide range of online and offline conversion activities. The role holder will be responsible for organising, creating, delivering and analysing marketing communications, conversion events, and other conversion activities to improve engagement and increase conversion across the international student recruitment journey.
Working as part of the KBS Marketing & Recruitment team, and alongside International Recruitment and the functional leads for Campaigns, Events and CRM & Conversions, they will be responsible for supporting the transformation of the Business School and making a key contribution to the University's and Divisional success in this area.
As an International Conversions Officer you can expect to be involved in :
- Providing an online hand-holding service to international students, to include but not limited to direct engagement, email, phone and SMS campaigns, virtual and on campus events, and social media engagement. Taking ownership for the ongoing improvement of the international conversion plan to drive recruitment outcomes and achieve annual targets.
- Working in collaboration with academics and key contacts in Kent Business School to drive forward all international recruitment and conversion activities such as conversion events and webinars.
- Create, check and send email, print and SMS campaigns, in line with the international conversion plan, via the CRM. Utilising the technology within the CRM such as lead scoring, email journeys and other automation to deliver personalised and segmented experiences that convert prospects into students
What will you bring to the role :
- Experience executing email marketing campaigns
- Experience of directly supporting customers in the UK and overseas
- Experience of creating and sending segmented and personalised communications through a CRM
- Strong copywriting and proof reading skills with experience creating inspiring and effective copy
- An understanding of how CRM can help support complex conversion plans – using tools such as dynamic content and customer journeys
