This full-time post is available on a fixed-term basis from April 2024 and until 31st March 2027 at the MRC Centre for Medical Mycology at the University of Exeter.

The IPDM will be embedded within MRC Centre for Medical Mycology (MRC CMM) team and contribute to the smooth running and success of a newly funded project. The primary role of the Impact and Partnership Development Manager (IPDM) will be to drive and support industry business and partnership engagement for this project. The role holder will identify and develop new business opportunities and plan, initiate and deliver key strategic business development projects by working closely with academic staff and partners across the project. The post-holder will also contribute to the strategic and operational requirements of the study, support the extensive network of academic and industry partnerships needed to deliver the work, oversee the distribution of funds, outputs, lead on stakeholder and partner engagement, support the commercialisation pipeline including liaising with experts support as required, and co-ordinate communications, budgets, and the internal and external reporting as deemed necessary.

There will be a requirement for regular UK and International travel, including travel to low and middle income countries (LMICs).
