About the role:
The College is seeking to recruit well-qualified and experienced ESOL practitioners to teach adults and young people as part of our Skills for Life team, for possible immediate start and for future teaching.
The School of Skills for Life is one of the biggest in the college, with over 3,000 learners on a range of programmes including:
Adults on accredited and non-accredited part-time ESOL courses from Pre-Entry Level to Level 1
ESOL 16-18 learners on programmes of study (Pre-Entry Level to Entry Level 3)
Full-time ESOL courses for 14-16 learners (mixed ability)
Delivery could include evenings hours and off-site provision.
About you:
You should be experienced with a track record of assisting learners to high levels of success. You should hold a teaching qualification and an ESOL subject specialism. Experience of preparing learners for external assessments with a recognised awarding body is essential.
