We are currently looking for an experienced Head of Observational Research to join our Clinical Practice Research Datalink team in the Safety and Surveillance group.

Within a week of working here, your day could look like this: delivering a world leading observational research service, supporting the use of CPRD data to improve the Agency’s vigilance and surveillance functions, developing CPRD’s research capability and partnerships and contribute to CPRD’s strategic development.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in epidemiology, statistics, data science or relevant public health research discipline, and be a scientific expert with a proven track record in epidemiological or public health research analysing large health data sets.

They will also be a strong and inclusive corporate and team leader, confident in people leadership with the ability to empower and motivate others in a dynamic environment and have highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills.
