We are looking for the lead fundraiser for the School of Biological Sciences, one of the most exciting Schools of the University. It has a highly successful fundraising programme, raising gifts at the 6, 7 and 8 figure level.
The research that the School does is wide-ranging, globally impactful and time critical. It includes finding a cure for Alzheimer's Disease, ensuring global food security, and increasing our fundamental understanding of cancer and neuroscience. The academics working in the School are extraordinary to work with and engaged with fundraising and what philanthropy can do.
You will be working as part of the Schools team - we are a warm, supportive and fun team who look out for each other. You will find it a welcoming place to work!
You do not need a background in scientific fundraising for this position, we are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, skilled at building lasting relationships and a team player. If this is you and you want to work where you can raise some of the biggest gifts of your career then we would love to hear from you.
This role is based in central Cambridge. We practise a hybrid working model and the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office for a minimum of two days a week.
