Applications are invited for the post of Head of Collective Employee Relations in the Human Resources Department.

At Royal Holloway we recognise that high levels of employee involvement and engagement are key to achieving our goals and building a rewarding work environment.  Equally important is the need for effective engagement with our three trade unions.   We have therefore created a new position dedicated to managing and enhancing our collective employee relations arrangements.

Based within the HR Directorate, you will play a lead role in managing and enhancing our approaches to collective employee relations across the University. Your primary objective will be to foster constructive relationships with our three unions while providing expert advice to key stakeholders, including the Vice-Chancellor, Provost, and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Global). Additionally, you will lead projects identified as priorities at both national and local levels and ensure formal union consultation and negotiation meetings run effectively and efficiently

We are looking for a problem solver with tact and diplomacy as well as someone who is proficient at building positive working relationships with all stakeholders. You will have excellent organisational skills and the be comfortable delivering across the breadth of the role.
