Graduate Business Partnership
Job Summary - The Student Recruitment Team at the University of Exeter are looking to recruit a graduate as an Outreach Coordinator. This role will provide a comprehensive introduction to stakeholder engagement and administration across UK student recruitment and widening participation. You will be supporting the delivery of a range of events and programmes to support student recruitment and widening participation, and you will provide direct support for the delivery of our online Discover University digital programme. This could become an excellent stepping stone to a career in outreach or recruitment. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership Scheme and is for 12 months. This role is based on our Streatham Campus in Exeter. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home. About You - You should be a graduate who has an understanding of the current HE environment and awareness of national education issues including widening participation, who has strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, and good IT skills. You should have excellent organisation skills with good attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure, manage a variety of tasks and meet tight deadlines, be able to work flexibly including some evenings and weekends, and have strong cultural awareness including an appreciation of different cultural expectations, sensitivities, customs and practices. You should also be flexible and have a proactive approach to solving problems, using creative and innovative thinking, be a team player, enthusiastic about supporting colleagues and contributing to the development and delivery of shared goals, have a positive outlooks, be solution focused and customer focused.
