This position is a fixed-term contract (1st September 2024 – 31st August 2025). 

We have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team of teacher educators and play a key role in the next steps in our journey as a well-established ITE provider. As ITaP Coordinator, you will work with the ITE Leadership Team to design, implement and evaluate Intensive Training and Practice elements of our curriculum across our primary and secondary provision. You will work closely with our experienced Lead Mentors, trainee teachers and our partner schools and settings, to ensure that our ITaPs achieve the very best outcomes for our trainees.

The role also involves teaching support across our undergraduate and postgraduate primary programmes according to your skills and experience, as well as contributing to scholarly activity and the development of our highly regarded ITE Partnership. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and positive practitioner with successful experience of teaching and mentoring ITE trainees. It would also be beneficial to have some expertise in any of the following areas: Science, Computing or English.
