An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Microsoft Office user to provide an efficient administrative service to the department. Duties will include cash posting of income and expenditure from the University's bank accounts to the general ledger, production of miscellaneous invoices, processing of general ledger journals and accruals, processing of internal transfer invoices and dealing with queries from external and internal clients.
Applicants must be educated to at least GCSE level with passes at grade B in English and Mathematics and have the ability to complete tasks and prioritise work within a given framework. Excellent communications skills are essential (verbal and written), and you must be able to work effectively as part of a team supporting colleagues as required and also to be self-motivated and work on your own initiative. You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and email, including Word and Excel.
