We are seeking to appoint two Marketing Communications Coordinators to work in the Marketing Office within the External Relations Division at Lancaster University. The two roles will be dedicated to supporting the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) in marketing communications for the purpose of student recruitment and conversion.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of subject-focussed communications to prospects and applicants, such as email campaigns, direct mail, and publications.

You will be passionate about communicating with prospective students and have an aptitude for copywriting, image selection, and tailoring content for different audiences.

A high level of attention to detail is required for tasks such as proof-reading, fact checking, and working with personal data. You will be familiar with legislation such as the Competitions and Markets Authority (CMA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and committed to upholding these regulatory requirements.

You will generate content, working with student content creators, and liaising with academic departments to fully understand and showcase subject content, facilities, societies, and all aspects of student life from a subject-focussed perspective. You will also coordinate photo shoots and gather testimonials from staff, students and graduates.

This is offered as a full-time indefinite role, though flexible arrangements will be considered. The role is hybrid with both on-campus and home working.

Informal enquiries for this role can be made to Helen Maddison, Marketing Communications Manager [email protected]
