Salary: Grade 3. £25,192. Please note, for internal applicants the salary will be reflected by pay and award policy

Working arrangements:  35 hours per week between 8am and 6pm. Hybrid working - you will be required to work in the office a minimum of 6 days per month.

MRCP(UK) is based in London and works on behalf of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the Royal College of Physicians of London (the Federation of Royal College of Physicians of the UK) to deliver a suite of examinations and assessments to over 27,000 candidates a year across the UK and in over 30 countries around the world.

MRCP(UK) is looking for an Administrator to join the Exam Delivery &Candidate Servicesteam and support with the coordination and delivery of MRCP(UK) examinations. This is an exciting time to join MRCP(UK) as we adapt quickly to the ensure the continued worldwide delivery of our exams and assessments through the ongoing pandemic.

Key responsibilities

  • Support with the coordination and delivery of MRCP(UK)’s full suite of examinations and assessments
  • Act as the first point of contact for UK and International candidates, supporting them from the point of application to results release, including candidate applications, registrations, payments, eligibility checks, ad-hoc queries and certification
  • Provide exceptional customer service when handling all queries from candidates, exam centres and other stakeholders via email, phone, social media and in person
  • Maintain and develop excellent relationships with all our exam delivery partners and key stakeholders
  • Maintain candidate and delivery partner databases, ensuring records are up to date and processing relevant payments and paperwork
  • Prepare, pack and ship time-critical exam materials and documentation across the UK and around the world
  • Support with the coordination of our invigilators, invigilating as required

About you

  • Experience of working in an office administration role, ideally within exams or assessments
  • Able to provide excellent customer service to stakeholders at all levels
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to safeguard confidential information and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Able to use general office software and technology and systems
  • Confident in building and developing relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment
