At the University of Westminster, diversity, inclusion and equality of opportunity are at the core of how we engage with students, colleagues, applicants, visitors and all our stakeholders. The University’s People Culture and Wellbeing department are looking to expand their Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team in order to drive the delivery of the inclusivity objectives within the Being Westminster Strategy, as well as work in collaboration with the EDI Committee and embed delivery of the EDI Strategy and goals. 

The EDI Manager will take the lead in actively engaging all stakeholders to promote, develop, embed and continuously monitor the University’s EDI Strategy and Action Plans. You will provide professional support, advice and expertise to senior leaders as well as other stake holders, applying an effective project management approach to meet all deadlines to effect cultural change. You will lead the EDI team, as well as advise the EDI Programme Board at a strategic level. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate practical experience of developing and implementing EDI strategies, policies and action plans. You will have a broad and comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations, accreditations and charters from within the HE sector, as well as demonstrable in-depth knowledge of employment and equality legislation. Importantly, you will have a passion and commitment to EDI and you will share and exemplify our values.
