We are looking to recruit an Enquiries Assistant within our forward thinking, well established Enquiries Team of 13, here at one of the leading Universities in the UK; University of Bristol. 

Acting as the first point of contact for all prospective students and their influencers, the Enquiries Team is responsible for inbound enquiry management and outbound communications between the University and enquirers, applicants, and their influencers, in respect of a wide-range of undergraduate courses and postgraduate programmes. In addition to this, you will be integral in building relationships with prospective students and supporting the conversion of enquirers through the application process.

  • Build relationships with prospective students, supporting the conversion of enquirers through the application process.
  • Manage and respond to enquiries in a timely manner using Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Plan and implement virtual communications channels with enquirers.
  • Providing support, representing the University at open days and acting as an ambassador for the University.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new enquiries systems.
  • Ensure all enquiries are accurately monitored and recorded.
  • You’re dedicated to providing excellent customer service to applicants and their influencers (teachers, parents and carers).
  • You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can grasp and retain new information and systems quickly.
  • You have the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way.
  • You’re highly organised, able to prioritise and can manage a number of different tasks at the same time.
  • You’re a team-player who’s willing to lend a hand if a colleague needs help with a challenging enquiry.
  • You work well under pressure.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working within a University (or educational) setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of recruitment and admissions within a university context.
  • You’ve worked in a marketing, recruitment or customer service environment.
  • Proven experience communicating using social network channels.
  • Knowledge of new media platforms.
  • A good working knowledge of University systems such as SITS and a CRM such as MS Dynamics.
