Salary: Grade 6 (£30,487 - £36,024 p.a. depending on experience)

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

The University has committed to growing its philanthropic income to support the delivery of the ‘Universal Value – Global Change’ strategy. Donor Relations is a critical part of this work with strategic oversight for supporter stewardship within the Advancement Team. We work in partnership with our team of fundraisers to develop and implement stewardship plans for major gift donors (giving £25K - £1M) and transformational donors (giving more than £1M), in order to deliver exceptional donor experience and increase supporter loyalty and giving.

We create detailed and bespoke stewardship on a wide variety of projects, in written, film and digital formats, to engage with our most significant donors, recognise their giving and update them on the impact their support is having.

The Donor Relations Officer role is a great opportunity for a driven individual with a creative, motivated and detailed work ethic to join our high-paced Philanthropy Team and contribute to the Advancement Team’s ambitious objective.

What we offer in return

  • 26 days holiday plus approx. 16 Bank Holidays/days that the University is closed by custom (including Christmas) – that’s 42 days a year!
  • Generous pension scheme options plus life assurance.
  • Health and Wellbeing: Discounted staff membership options at The Edge, our state-of-the-art Campus gym, with a pool, sauna, climbing wall, cycle circuit, and sports halls.
