We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Dispensary RVN to work in The Queen Mother Hospital for Animals. This position is ideal for someone with the passion and drive to develop their dispensary career, broaden their knowledge of medications, and specialise in supporting a wide range of services within a small animal referral hospital.
Working as part of our friendly and enthusiastic dispensary team, you will assist with the dispensing of medications for inpatients and outpatients, calculating drug doses, and order drugs and consumables to ensure that sufficient stock levels are maintained. We are open to full-time applications. The working pattern covers one in three weekends on a rota basis, with time off in lieu following a full weekend. We can offer a degree of flexibility on working days during the week (Monday-Friday).
The successful candidate will have experience and a sound knowledge of drugs, including controlled drugs, stock control, legal compliance, and excellent communication skills.
Full training and support will be provided.
