THE ROLE:
Director of Estates Development and Operation - Interim
We are looking for an experienced Estates and Facilities Manager who can support the department for a 3 - 6 month period as we transition to a new structure. During this period you will lead the Estates Development and Operations team and work closely with an interim manager who leads the soft facilities services for the department. During this period we are looking to progress a number of projects and develop our operational services to ensuring that we continue to make progress and create the best possible conditions for the new incoming Directors we are recruiting for on a permanent basis.
Ideally, you will be a senior, customer focused, leader who is passionate about service delivery and the benefits that inspiring spaces and high-quality environments can provide to our students and staff. The Director of Estates Development and Operations will take a business partnering approach, working closely with key stakeholders and colleagues internally and external partners to deliver an ambitious programme of campus development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Interim Director of Estates Development and Operations, you will be responsible for the following areas which are led by two Associate Directors:
- Campus Development
- Major Capital Projects
- Engineering Projects
- Operations and Maintenance
- Engineering Maintenance and Compliance
- Buildings and Grounds Maintenance
