This is an exciting opportunity to work within an expanding department of the University. You will join a team in the Directorate of Legal and Governance which provides legal advice and support to the University and its subsidiary companies.

You will be responsible for managing the University¿s day to day obligations under DPA/FOI legislation. You should have experience of dealing with DPA/FOI compliance issues, ideally in Higher Education or the public sector. You will possess exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, and will be able to communicate complex matters simply and concisely to staff at different levels across the University, as well as third parties (including the Information Commissioner¿s Office).

You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience) and qualified to practise as a Lawyer.
