As a member of the Divisional Marketing and Recruitment team, the Marketing & Recruitment Coordinator will support marketing and event activities across the Directorate and Divisions. They will provide marketing, conversion and administrative support for both home and overseas student postgraduate and undergraduate recruitment.
The role holder will support a wide range of events with responsibility for delivering various activities in person and online, and collating and devising digital and written content to meet overarching priorities.
A proactive member of the team, the role holder will work in close collaboration with the other Divisions as well as colleagues in the wider Future Student directorate.
As a Divisional Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator, you can expect to be involved in:
• Under the direction of the Marketing & Recruitment Lead, support the delivery of the Divisional annual plan to maximise home and international student recruitment. Ensure the Division continues to positively enhance their recruitment targets, profile and reputation in line with university processes, policies and ambition, and that the local activity draws on resources in the professional services teams (PSDs).
• Facilitate and support the development of a suite of USPs for each programme, to include up to date statistic, accreditations and successes.
• Work closely with PSDs to compile campaign briefs and to analyse and report on acquisition and conversion marketing and recruitment activity to support the Division in achieving its recruitment target. Update the Division’s external listings, with the aim of encouraging and increasing student applications and promoting brand awareness.
• Support recruitment and conversion activities such as Open Days and Applicant Days, Clearing, and student facing related events to further maximise the Divisions student number targets. Manage guest lists, RSVPs and logistics for Divisional recruitment events where appropriate.
What we are looking for in the right candidate:
• Educated to A level or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in a customer facing role with good organisational skills
• Some prior knowledge and understanding of marketing and recruitment, ideally gained in the Higher Education sector
• Experience of creating content for social media (e.g. Instagram, and, TikTok) for business purposes and assisting with photoshoots, videography etc
• Experience of organising and delivering events, this role will require some evening and weekend working
