The Role

Vacancies have arisen for suitable candidates to support a busy Course and Student Administration Team within Student Services. The purpose of this position is to contribute to the highest quality professional support, maintaining a student-focused customer support service and a responsive and adaptable approach to course and student administration, You will develop and maintain a good standard of knowledge and understanding of course provision, design and delivery for the university portfolio of programmes, to enable the delivery of a high level of student-focused customer service throughout the student lifecycle.


The Person

The successful candidates must be able to work effectively and proactively as part of a team with minimal supervision. Educated to at least A Level or equivalent, you will display a high level of communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to listen and respond effectively to queries, including those of an academic regulatory nature. You should be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and have experience of providing professional support and advice in a similar or related environment, in fulfilment of the essential and desirable qualities on the person specification.

Student Services

The Student Services team helps Kingston University students navigate the complexities of university life by providing information, advice, and guidance on a wide range of topics. The team is comprised of Course and Student Administration, the Information Centre, Library and Learning Services, Student Life, Health and Wellbeing and Student Engagement.

Our team is skilled at solving problems and assisting students with all sorts of things, from locating learning materials to course related administration and accessing specialist advice services like accommodation, funds and wellbeing.

We work with the University’s network of professional services and academic faculties to ensure information and guidance is current and relevant.  The way we work is underpinned by technologies such as library and student information systems, mobile apps, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence.

Whatever question or concern our students, staff or visitors have, we pride ourselves on finding answers, or linking them with someone who can help.


Further information

There are two full-time positions available which are fixed-term for 12 months with a starting salary of £27,804 per annum.
