Are you interested in working as a Course Administrator supporting our staff and students in a Higher Education setting?  If so, then we would love to hear from you.

Working with the Academic Administration Manager and Senior Course Administrators, you will utilise your strong administrative and organisational skills to plan, prioritise and manage a range of work activities.

This includes handling enquiries received through different routes, providing information and advice on University-wide services, policies and procedures, and administrative support for course teams.  You will also provide a friendly and efficient reception service for students, staff, visitors, and other external stakeholders, within agreed customer service levels and standards.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Experience of delivering a broad range customer-focussed enquiry and support services.
  • Experience of carrying out a range of organisational and administrative duties.
  • The ability to produce written communications clearly and concisely.
  • Work proactively to ensure effective service delivery.
  • The ability to use Microsoft Office computer programs to a high standard.

The role is based on our Moulsecoomb Campus but there are opportunities for some remote working too.  This post is 15 hours per week, as a fixed term position until the end of August. Due to the limited hours available we aren't able to offer this as a job share.

We embrace equality and diversity in our working, learning, research and teaching environment and are committed to maintaining a supportive and inclusive community. We particularly encourage applicants from Minority Ethnic backgrounds because the University is under-represented by Minority Ethnic staff.

For the vast majority of our roles, we operate an agile working system with time split between working on campus and at the employee's home. It is the University's expectation that home working will take place within the UK.
