Applications are invited for the post of Communications & Engagement Officer (Social Science) in the Research & Innovation Department.

The Social Science Impact Accelerator (SSIA) programme  has a unique opportunity for a Royal Holloway University PhD student or post-doc to help maximise the impact of our social science research while enhancing their communications, engagement and knowledge exchange skills. We will discuss specific arrangements with candidates selected for interviews. 

The SSIA programme has been running for one year, and helps Royal Holloway researchers to use their social science expertise to fuel innovation and address the challenges facing our region, broader UK, and the world. The programme is funded by an Impact Acceleration Account grant (2023-28), from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). 

The post holder will focus on developing, coordinating and delivering our engagement and communications activities, working closely with the rest of the team and academic leadership of the programme. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, and have experience creating engaging content online and offline for a range of audiences.
