We’re looking for Cleaning Assistants to join our expanding team on a permanent, part time basis.

This is a part-time, permanent position with the following shifts available across our three campuses:

  • Craiglockhart: 2:00pm - 5:00pm (Monday – Friday)
  • Merchiston: 6:00am - 10:00am (Monday – Friday)
  • Merchiston: 06:00am - 9:00am (Monday – Friday)
  • Sighthill: 6:00am - 10:00am (Monday – Friday)
  • Sighthill: 4:30pm - 08:30pm (Monday – Friday)

Salary: £21,828 per annum, pro rata (£11.99 per hour) (Grade 2)

The Role

As part of the Property & Facilities cleaning team you will provide a flexible customer focussed service across our campuses. You will ensure a clean and safe working environment for all students, staff, and visitors to Edinburgh Napier University. You will be required to adhere to relevant statutory regulations especially in relation to waste management.

Daily duties will involve cleaning offices, all kitchen areas, labs, meeting rooms, stairways, toilets, showers etc.

What we’ll need from you

  • Experience of providing an excellent service to a high standard
  • Experience of working on own initiative but also as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
