Initially, you will be based at Horsforth Campus, but it is expected you will move to the Leeds City Campus in the Academic Year 2024/25, whilst occasionally working at the Horsforth campus as well.

Leeds Trinity University Library has a strong track record in providing excellent help and support to our users, and in the provision of high-quality study environments and digital and physical collections of resources.  This exciting and varied new role provides an opportunity to manage and develop Library operations at our new Leeds City Campus, as well as providing liaison support to academic schools.

Reporting to the Director of Library & Learning Resources and liaising closely with the Library User Services Managers at the Horsforth Campus, you will manage and develop a team of Information Assistants, circulation services including inter-campus stock transit arrangements and other library operations, the physical environment of the City Campus Library, and communications and information relating to library services based at the campus.

You will be responsible for Library liaison for one or more academic Schools, provide high quality enquiry services and user support, induction, and post induction information skills sessions, manage associated book budgets and advise stakeholders on collection development.

A graduate with a professional qualification in Library or Information Studies, you should have experience of managing or supervising staff, a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service, excellent problem solving, dispute resolution and communication skills, experience of delivering information skills training, and an ability to proactive build strong relationships and liaise effectively with students, academic and professional services staff.
