Casual Senior Technician

About The Role
  
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Casual Senior Technician supporting Life Drawing across the university. The role is part of an existing team to support courses including Animation, Architecture, and Illustration with delivery of technical and expressive life drawing skills at our two life drawing centres. You will be guided by course requirements for set sessions as part of the curriculum, and cover absence as required.
About You
You will have experience of delivering life drawing, ideally at higher education level, and have an established creative practice which includes drawing as a significant part. Ideally with an undergraduate degree in a creative subject which aligns with our course portfolio, you will have great communication skills and are able to work with groups and individuals in an accepting and supportive manner.
 
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience: 
  • Possession of IOSH qualification or a willingness to complete
  • Substantial demonstrable recent experience in one or more identified technical specialisms
  • An up to date knowledge of related technical practice and a commitment to continual specialist development.
  • Ability to service and maintain technical facilities, equipment and processes
