This position is only open to students studying at University of Brighton and will be responsible for providing a high level of service to customers and assisting in the smooth running of the service.  

Main Duties and Responsibilities   

  • Carry out general duties (i.e. serving customers, dealing with customer enquiries, taking orders, cash handling and till operations) 
  • Help maintain a high level of merchandising by ensuring rapid and efficient stock replenishment, highlighting lines that need re-ordering and adhering to stock planograms 
  • Undertake retail and customer service activities to exceed sales targets, profitability and customer satisfaction in line with agreed practices 
  • Provide a consistent level of customer service that is efficient, courteous and professional and in keeping with the values of BSU, reporting to management any issues that may compromise your ability to do so 
  • Manage cash and card transactions in accordance with company procedures and policies
