The Role

We are currently seeking a committed and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our senior management team. You will be responsible for developing and managing all B2B and B2C relationships to add and grow revenue streams across all areas of our business. This includes increasing our reputation and brand integrity.

You will have ownership of the budgeted revenues across our entire business model. You will line manage, lead, and develop the reactive and proactive sales team, ensuring they deliver on all targets.

Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining a clear and responsive business development plan. This plan will outline specific and measurable targets across all areas of our business, such as Leisure, Corporate, Conference & Event Sales, Food & Beverage, Accommodation, Grounds, and Gardens. Additionally, you will be responsible for associated marketing functionality, including setting budget expectations and ensuring a return on investment.

An important aspect of this role is to identify and qualify relevant prospects and leads for all revenue pipelines across our business segments. You will then utilize your expertise to develop these prospects and leads into converted business, resulting in revenue growth and profit generation.

Building and maintaining excellent networks and working relationships with key accounts, prospects, target accounts, and lapsed accounts is another critical aspect of this role. It is important to foster strong connections within the local networks and community.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record in business development, with hospitality and events experience in B2B and B2C relationships. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with strong leadership abilities. The ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently is essential.
