Overview

About the Role


This role will support Queen Mary researchers in the Faculty of Science & Engineering (S&E) to develop academic research partnerships with businesses. Within the team, the post-holder will have a particular responsibility to support the development (with QMUL academics) of business led Innovate UK collaborative (CR&D) grants, UK public sector research grants, and other business funded research contracts. Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager S&E, the post-holder will be required to interact and work cooperatively with the wider Business Development and Partnerships team. This role is client (internal and external) facing and the post-holder is expected to be at the clients’ site or on campus for three days per week.

About You


If you are a business development and income generation professional, with relevant experience in and knowledge of Science and Engineering / HE sector, writing/reviewing research grant funding proposals and experience in submitting public sector grants/bids/tenders, then we look forward to receiving your application.
