An opportunity has arisen to join the University’s Student Systems Team on a 12 month fixed term contract, working with colleagues across the institution to shape the future of the University’s Banner Student Record System.
As an experienced training manager, you will have the skills and expertise to lead on training design and delivery for Banner workstreams as we embark on a programme of modernisation and development. In this role you will be part of our Banner programme team, working with a range of technical specialists and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
What you’ll do:
- Apply your specialist expertise to develop and deliver a training strategy for the Banner student record system.
- Build a detailed understanding of the training needs of our user community and recommend the most appropriate methods for delivering effective systems training to them.
- Working as part of the Student Systems Team, you’ll report to the Head of Business Change and Project Support.
What you’ll bring:
- Ability to build a detailed training approach which aligns with programme milestones, deliverables and outcomes, effectively building users’ competence and confidence in the use of systems.
- Experience of analysing situations and problems, an ability to work systematically to resolve problems, identify causes, anticipate implications and make informed decisions on courses of actions.
- An understanding of training tools, methodologies, and models.
