The UCL Global Business School for Health (GBSH) at UCL East campus is an innovative business school preparing future healthcare leaders to disrupt and reimagine global health systems. This role is at the centre of our desire to create an entrepreneurial mindset in all our students.  The postholder will bring a rich background in developing innovation and enterprise in students from diverse backgrounds.  This role involves overseeing our capstone business project module for our postgraduate students as well as acting as the programme lead for our MSc in Digital Health and Entrepreneurship. The postholder will play a critical role in overseeing the delivery of this taught programme. This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of our most popular programmes at the UCL Global Business School for Health. The programme focuses on developing skills, knowledge and competencies in digital health and entrepreneurship. UCL values the responsibilities of programme leadership.  Consequently, this role is a great opportunity to share expertise in education as well as enterprise as it relates to digital health with staff, students and society while also developing a career at UCL.

The postholder will be responsible for the organisation and management of the programme and for the academic experience of the students on the programme. As Programme Lead the post holder will be expected to be a member of the Departmental Education Committee and play an active part in developing the School’s portfolio of programmes and enhancing the student academic experience.

You will be required to have a PhD in entrepreneurship, management, innovation or a related health technology or digital health area to the programme or equivalent experience with extensive knowledge of digital health from an entrepreneurship perspective.

You will also have knowledge of key debates in digital health and use of technology in healthcare scholarship and potential to contribute positively to these debates, with experience teaching in higher education and experience leading positive culture change, or culture creation, within a discipline, department or organisation.

You will have excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills with the ability to communicate with communities targeted by this programme. You will also have the ability to work collaboratively, deliver research-led, effective, engaging and inclusive undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching and supervise postgraduate research.
