The UCL Global Business School for Health (GBSH) at UCL East campus is an innovative business school preparing future healthcare leaders to disrupt and reimagine global health systems. GBSH is dedicated to training and developing the next generation of leaders in the global health economy by building on UCL’s proud tradition of cross-disciplinary academic excellence in education and research.

This post will support our postgraduate degree programmes as well as contribute to our interdisciplinary research agenda. We seek candidates with a research specialisation in Finance and Economics. Candidates need to have an expertise of SMEs and financial entrepreneurship.  Given the interdisciplinary approach to health challenges taken at Global Business School for Health, we would see a scholarly interest in health and a willingness to work across disciplines essential for this role.

You will be required to have a PhD in management, finance, economics or another related area to finance and entrepreneurship and have a Postgraduate certificate in teaching and/or have another teaching qualification (e.g., FHEA).

You will have a proven ability to conduct internationally excellent research, which is reflected in the authorship of high-quality publications in an area relevant to your discipline. You will have a track record of supervising PhD students to completion (AP) and record of research and/or enterprise funding as principal investigator or co-investigator (AP).

You will be experienced in leading positive culture change, or culture creation, within a discipline, department or organisation and experienced in teaching on an academic programme. You will have excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently, deliver research-led effective, engaging and inclusive postgraduate teaching and be able to supervise postgraduate research students.
