Associate Professor - Battery Modelling (77937-0124)

Updated: 4 months ago
Location: Coventry, ENGLAND
Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 05 Feb 2024

The Battery Systems Research Group is focused on the challenges that underpin the UK’s strategy for decarbonation of the transport sector and energy network. Our research reflects the need to scale-up both fundamental and applied research in electrochemistry to system-scale solutions. This includes the creation of novel algorithms, cell and system designs and the use of novel manufacturing methods to extend battery life, improve safety, optimise performance and to support the creation of a future circular economy within energy storage.

A key element of our research is the creation of novel sensing methods, experimental and simulation techniques to build the digital framework to accelerate battery development. Due to sustained success and growth within the team, we are looking to recruit a new Associate Professor in Battery Modelling.

We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.

Full details of the duties and selection criteria for this role can be found in the vacancy advert on the University of Warwick's jobs pages. You will be routed to this when you click on the Apply button.
