The Alumni Relations and Events Administrator is a new role based within the award-winning Alumni Relations Office. This post is crucial to supporting and enhancing engagement between the University and its alumni community.
The role will provide essential administrative and operational support to the University of Westminster’s Alumni Relations team and its suite of alumni programmes. The post holder is the first point of contact for our extensive global alumni community, handling a large number of varied enquiries and maintaining the central alumni database.
Key duties include the coordination of logistics and communications related to in-person and online alumni events, which aim to improve student and recent graduate employability. The role will also support activities and campaigns which celebrate alumni success and alumni volunteers, as well as graduation related engagement.
The ideal candidate will have varied administration experience within a busy team environment, alongside experience of or interest in supporting and coordinating events. Excellent interpersonal skills are very important, and the post holder must enjoy working as part of a busy team and be comfortable working without constant supervision.

Hybrid working will include at least one day a week in our central London (Wells Street) office, increasing during times of programme delivery. The University offers a generous 35 days of annual leave policy, plus planned closure dates, and holds colleague wellbeing as one of its core values.
