About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an AI solutions developer to work on a ground-breaking development project in the field of AI data science. You will be working alongside a highly respected academic team and an innovative and successful small company. KTP’s enhance your career by providing an opportunity to lead a challenging project central to a business strategic development and long-term growth. KTP’s offer a generous development budget to augment the Associate’s technical and management skills. 

The project will develop an AI-driven, intelligent cloud-base quoting system platform for the construction of agricultural and industrial building structures. AI-based solutions are already creating a disruptive impact in the construction sector and this project will address key productivity challenges in the design, specification and quoting of new construction projects. The solution developed will improve the pre-sale design processes, reducing errors and rework; automate labour intensive business processes, particularly during quotation and design and pre-sales processes; track project designs throughout the project lifecycle; improve knowledge flows between internal teams and external customers and suppliers; and improve business decision making through advanced analytics.

Our Company Partner: J Wareing & Son Ltd 

Established for over a century, J Wareing is a leading fabricator and constructor of steel framed buildings. Their bespoke structures are used in many different applications from livestock buildings and stables to retail units and industrial premises. They offer clients in the UK and internationally tailor-made solutions to meet their specific requirements, from steel frames and cladding, steel structures in kit format or complete design and build packages.

About You

As AI Solutions Developer you will have demonstrable knowledge of:

• Machine learning and predictive modelling libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, OpenCV, Scikit-learn, PyTorch,  DL4j)
• Statistical techniques for data mining
• Application development using appropriate programming language (e.g. Python, Java) and JavaScript libraries for web (TensorFlow.js, Brain.js)
• The development of database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
• Information and cyber security considerations for cloud services (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud)
• Unit testing, functional testing and testing frameworks

You will also hold skills in the following:

• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Communication skills
• Strong project management 
• Ability to think critically to proactively identify and resolve problems
