Admissions Administrator (maternity cover)

St Catharine’s College seeks to appoint a full-time Admissions Administrator to work in our Tutorial team. 

This is a fixed term maternity cover position which is expected to end in February 2025.  

The main focus of this varied and interesting role is to:

  • liaise with applicants and potential applicants, as well as University and College departments
  • co-ordinate the full admissions process; and 
  • organise College open days and our participation in University open days

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • A commitment to delivering a first-class administration service to the College.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise and manage their own workload.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively, building and maintaining successful relationships with a range of colleagues across the College and beyond.
  • A well-organised and flexible approach to the varied and demanding workload; reliability, enthusiasm, flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential for this post.
  • An interest in further professional development and a willingness to identify and undertake relevant training.

Benefits and working arrangements

  • Salary of FTE £33,000 per annum.
