This is an exciting opportunity to join our Student Recruitment and Admissions Directorate. As Administrative Assistant is a key role within our Directorate of Student Recruitment and Admissions.

The Directorate of Student Recruitment and Admissions is a central service responsible for managing the full prospective student journey for both home and international students. The directorate is responsible for the strategic delivery of recruitment and admissions activities, in collaboration with our faculties, to meet home and international recruitment targets for both undergraduate and postgraduate provision.

You will provide administrative support to the Director of Student Recruitment as well as general administrative and organisational support to staff within the wider directorate.

You will provide effective diary management for the Director of Student Recruitment and Director of UK Student Recruitment, Access and Partnerships by scheduling, prioritising, and re-arranging physical or online meetings. This may include booking rooms and catering.

The role will support the directorate in meetings with minute taking and recording actions.

You will provide financial support to the Director of Student Recruitment and the wider directorate including raising purchase orders, receiving and distributing invoices, credit card purchases, downloading monthly budget spreadsheets and processing expense claims.

We are seeking to employ an individual with experience of providing administrative support to a team or individual with a good level of digital literacy and knowledge of using Microsoft Office.

You will have good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective relationships
