The Team

Our University owned student accommodation is based at various sites across the city, and complements that supplied by partner providers and private landlords.  The University regards accommodation as a key part of its offer to students and guarantees accommodation to all first year Undergraduates.

The role

We are looking to appoint an Accommodation Officer (Support) to who will be part of a team providing an accommodation service to both prospective and current students where the student experience is of paramount importance.

Required skills and experience

The successful candidate will interact with a wide range of students, their families and staff from all areas of the University. Therefore it is essential that they have excellent interpersonal skills. They should also have the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently and have a willingness to support colleagues in the team.

Experience of working in a similar role is essential. The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the needs and expectations of the wide variety of students who enter Higher Education.
