Salary:  £25,138 to £28,759 plus London Allowance of £3,456 per annum. The 0.6FTE salary range is £17,156 – £19,329 including London Allowance per annum

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable person to join the Technical Services team and provide support for laboratory practical classes. We would like to hear from team players who have previous experience of working in a laboratory and are keen to progress their skills in a University setting.

Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

• Accurate worker; high attention to detail including when under pressure
• Aptitude for working with students 
• Excellent understanding of Health and Safety requirements in a laboratory environment
• Strong organisational, time-management and communication skills

This post is 35 hours per week for 31 weeks per year (0.6FTE), during core University term-time.  Term-times are variable but usually cover September to mid-December, January to March and May. (There may be some variation depending on the dates of Easter.)   Hours are Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day. Further detail on the working pattern can be discussed at interview.
