We are looking for an outstanding candidate to project manage a growing portfolio of research, implementation and advocacy projects in resource limited settings. The current project is set in the community in Kampala, Uganda studying the causes and treatment of urinary tract infections, with additional management of a Fleming Fund Fellowship award in Africa expected before the end of 2023.  The role is for an initial 18 months which will involve extensive grant writing, fundraising and business case development which, if successful, will support the extension of this position.

Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

  • Strategic thinking and the ability to write business cases 
  • Successful track record in the operational management of research, implementation studies or non-governmental organisation projects in Asia, Africa and other low and middle countries (LMICs)
  • Ability and willingness to travel, including to LMICs
  • Excellent communication skills with a variety of stakeholders in global health
