We are seeking a dynamic individual to support the Primary Care Education Manager and primary care education team in the administration of all undergraduate educational projects relating to primary care teaching on the MBBS programmes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the Primary Care Education Manager, MBBS administrative team, primary care academics and external providers by supporting the development and improvement of administrative and operational delivery.

The post holder will work closely with the Primary Care Education Manager to assist and coordinate the development of the department’s improvement strategy by proactively reacting to changes needed to improve the service for staff and students in primary care teaching, ensuring these are working effectively to achieve successful delivery.

This is a varied and busy role and would be suitable to a person who has substantial work experience in a busy environment, strong organisational and communication skills, project management experience and at least some line-management experience for deputising in Primary Care Education Managers absence and who is passionate about improving processes and service delivery. The ideal candidate will enjoy problem solving, support current and future undergraduate educational innovation projects and be comfortable liaising with a wide range of internal/external stakeholders including students, clinical academics, and NHS colleagues.
