Our Information and Library Services Directorate delivers quality IT, library, academic and digital skills and learning enhancement to staff and students across the university. Our digital mission is to ensure everyone in our community is equipped to effectively use digital services, data and technology with confidence, resilience and creativity in their learning, teaching, research and organisational support.  

 The University is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Business Analyst to its team responsible for the planning, design, and delivery of the university’s corporate IT systems.

 The successful candidate will be responsible for customer requirements analysis, business process review and re-engineering, and working with colleagues to identify and specify solutions, quality assure those solutions, and helping to ensure IT software projects realise their intended benefits.

 Applicants should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to successfully work with and influence senior stakeholders, be able to develop and maintain relationships with third party providers/suppliers, be accomplished problem solvers and have demonstrable experience of all the aforementioned activities. 

  This position offers considerable scope for creativity and responsibility in what is a highly varied role supporting a wide range of stakeholders across the University.

 This is a permanent, full-time role with potential options for compressed working hours or a part-time contract of 4 days per week (28 hours) can be discussed. 

The post will be based at the outstanding World Heritage Site of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. The interview process will be in person at our University of Greenwich campus.
