An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the College of Health and Life Sciences as an Apprentice Technician to support the team of technicians providing support for the college.

You will primarily support the HLS Laboratory Operations Team providing support mostly for the Bioscience and Pharmacy programmes.  As part of the apprenticeship programme the post holder will complete a level 5 qualification, whilst also undertaking a variety of technical duties in the role for which full training will be given. The post holder will also have the opportunity to attend University training opportunities in aspects such as Health & Safety and Manual Handling. 

Aston University is located within Birmingham City Centre and has accessible transport links, via bus or train.  There is also a cycle-to-work scheme.  We offer a generous annual leave scheme with 25 days of bookable leave and a further 13 days of bank holiday and University closure days.
